Students

  • Every student should possess the prescribed text books and note books and should bring them regularly to the class as per the time table. All books should be neatly covered and labelled.
  • Every student must look after his / her own belongings. It is not advisable for students to have money or valuable articles with them.
  • The school is not responsible for articles lost by students in the premises.
  • Chewing gum is prohibited on campus. Usage of plastic bags and covers are also prohibited on campus.
  • Serious action will be taken against anyone bringing undesirable books magazines, newspapers, electronic gadgets (Camera, Cellphone, C.D., I Pods) etc. to the school or circulating them within the school premises.
  • Students are strictly forbidden from writing to one another. All the letters of students with the school address will be censored by the Principal before they are handed over to the students.
  • Students involved in any malpractice in any examination will be debarred from the rest of the examinations or even a more drastic step, namely dismissal, may be taken.
  • The school does not hold itself responsible for injuries sustained by pupil while in the school. However, first aid will be rendered immediately and injuries necessitating Hospital/OPD treatment will be attended to without delay.
  • No student shall indulge in any of the following practices namely.
    1. Spitting in or near the school building except where provision is made.
    2. Disfiguring or damaging any school property.
    3. Rowdyism and rude behaviour.
    4. Use of violence in any form.
    5. Use of obscene language and/or causing hurt to the modesty of others.
  • Serious violations of the rules and regulations and the discipline of the School are punishable, including removal or expulsion from the school. Such action will normally follow a written warning to allow an improvement in conduct.
  • Pupils may be required to take part in various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities even outside school hours. When so required, participation will be deemed compulsory.
  • Staying away from mandatory school functions including Annual Day and Sports Day without prior permission and / or justification will be considered a major discipline default.
  • Each student’s safety is a major concern of the school Therefore the following should be strictly observed:
    1. Students will wear the identity card with the school uniform.
    2. Parents of pre-primary students are required to teach the children their name address and telephone number.
    3. If The child has to go to a place other than his/her home, a note from the parents must be sent to school requesting permission and stating reason for the child to go to a different address after school.
  • Students are responsible to school authorities for their conduct not only in the school but also for their general behaviour outside. Any reported or observed objectionable conduct outside the school on the part of the pupils will make them liable to disciplinary action. It is expected that through their good behaviour they must enhance the prestige of the school. Parents are advised to inform the Principal about any problems they may be facing or may have been facing regarding their children, bearing in mind that it is only with the sincerity and openness of the parents that the school will be able to help their child to become well groomed citizen of the country.
  • Classroom Decorum

     

    1. Students will ensure that the desk and chair are properly placed, litter is notstrewn around.
    2. While debates and discussions are vital for learning, students must ensure that they should not disturb the neighbouring classes.
    3. Students are not permitted to consume water or foodstuff when class is in progress or in between the classes.
    4. Class leaders must ensure that all windows are closed, lights and fans switched off when leaving class for outdoor activities or at the end of the day.
    5. In the absence of the teacher from the class-room, pupils are required to observe silence and obey the leader of the class.
    6. Students are not allowed to enter classrooms other than their own
